We cannot express enough of how important it is to have a carbon monoxide detector installed in your home. You can buy them at Home Depot for just a few dollars. Do not, as many people do, install them high up on the wall or on the ceiling, they have to be installed at eye level of a person of about 5' 8". Place the detectors in a hallway or near bedroom areas, do not place them near a furnace or vent location. West Coast wishes you all a safe and happy holiday season.
