Founded in 1974 by Gary Benson, Anvil Arts was originally created as a custom lighting manufacturing facility with an emphasis on handcrafted, one of a kind fixtures designed and created closely with the client. This unique collaboration of artistry and functionality instantly attracted the attentio
n of designers and architects in the field. Anvil Arts has since been a leader in the industry, expanding its product lines to include tables, fire screens, drapery hardware, lighting, and a variety of other custom projects. Unlike the machine-made replicas often seen in the trade, all of our fixtures are hand forged in house. We use high quality art glass, and our lighting fixtures are Underwater Laboratory-approved for dry as well as damp locations. Although we specialize in iron work, we also create custom accents in brass, copper, and sheet metal.
