Welcome to halfway through October, the spookiest of months! Tis the season for ghosts, goblins, and all manner of normally outdoor pests who are determined to make your favorite philodendron their fresh new haunted house.
The Fungus Gnats have arrived, the Fungus Gnats have arrived! Luckily, we're here right in time for fighting back with Pixie's Mini SkullBog Planter and Bog Kit featuring drosera venusta. Keep the creeps dead right where you want them with a stylish 3D printed custom designed planter that's perfect to house some of the deadliest enemies of the dreaded fungus gnat, tiny rosetted Sundews! Scientifically known as the drosera venusta, these relatively uncommon yet easy growing South African Sundews are exploding in popularity now after their discovery in 1987.
These planters are printed with safe non-toxic purple glitter PETG that GLOWS after UV exposure, allowing your SkullBog Sundew to continue to lure their prey towards sticky doom even after lights out. They're 2 inches deep, with drainage and convenient hanging holes that you can use to turn your Soggy Boggy Boi into the Hanged Man. It's not recommended to hang Venustas, as they can dry out very quickly outside of the bog, but you can use this tiny shiny skull pot however you wish for whatever little plants you desire.
Every baby drosera should make their way out into the world with the SkullBog Sundew Mini kit. With the kit your SkullBog potted Sundew will come with a 3D printed PLA water tray, custom designed with textured walls for a sure grip even while slippery and/or wet. It's perfectly sized with a stealthy black low profile to enhance, not distract from the SkullBogSundews glittery, macabre glow. Most Sundews prefer to stay moist and grow naturally in a boggy environment. It is recommended to keep them in a tray of water refilled with distilled, rain, or reverse osmosis filtered water before it goes dry. Minerals and nutrients in normal drinking water are toxic to and will eventually kill your Sundew, though likely not right away. Also included are quality dried bloodworms for feeding your Sundew if there aren't any bugs for them to feed themselves. At this time kits will cost a bit extra and will be printed after orders are in.
I've got nine "drosera venusta" Sundews in purple glitter/glow in the dark skull pots available for sale. They will be $23 for a plant in a skull pot, $25 for the whole SkullBog Mini kit with custom water tray and a little bit of Sundew snacks.
