At the start of the season, I had good intentions to keep these squares current and updated…As it turns out, I did a terrible job. Not only did I not publish updates from our gardens - I entirely omitted photographing them any time I was on site for my own reference and reflection.

Something about being pregnant, having two children, and building a greenhouse all while ensuring our clients have the best possible experience!

My dear friend, Danis, is 21 weeks pregnant with their 4th child.

She recently found out there is a tumor growing in her head - the vision in her left eye is going rapidly and they are headed to Seattle to have surgery to remove the tumor next week.

If you are local and would like to help out with meals please let me know and I can pass that meal train along.
Otherwise, if you feel called to give to her family financially, this link will allow you to do that.
Additionally, they are asking for prayer and specifics on that can be found in the most recent update.

What a joy to spend time with my girls - this tea party we had for the little gals at our church was so sweet - the film photos just really topped it off!

All of my client gardens are buttoned up for the season here at Mossflower! Grant, his dad, and many friends got the greenhouse roof on and ready for winter! And now here we sit, not idle, but preparing and awaiting the birth of our 3rd child!

Cheers to a fabulous season - seeing and cultivating beauty as we go!

I have lots of wonderful flowers and vegetables available for sale here in Anchorage.

I grow all organically and most seeds I purchase are organic!

I will be at the Wellness Lounge 5:30-7:00 this Thursday answering plant questions and selling plants.

These are just some of the beauties that I have available this season.

Kale, Cauliflower, Pie Pumpkins, Citrine Cherry Tomatoes, 2-3” red Tomatoes called Defiant, and Windowbox Tomatoes. Lots of herbs. 🧡

Gardens transcend the space between spiritual and physical. They exude the grace, peace, and love that Jesus gave to us through His death and resurrection.

Thankful to have the love, grace, and peace that the Lord brings to our lives even in the midst of hardship. This does not mean life is easy, but it sure does lighten the load.

He has risen, He has risen indeed!

Lauren snapped a sweet action photo of me tending to the wonderful plants that we start from seed and then design with!

The marigolds, sunflowers, calendula, and cosmos you can see in this picture were all started by me or my assistant gardener, Kira, maybe even Cora! She was obsessed by the ‘little broom’ seeds last season. 🧡
