Let’s talk about measurements. Sometimes you can measure several times and still miss the mark.
Tilers pick a center line to work off of to bring the room together cohesively. It can be tricky to keep that center line when installing different pieces of the project at different stages, and often by different contractors.
In this video we centered the mirror, then the faucets. Alex noticed (and fixed) his mistake because he checks his center line after each step. The counter tops were installed next and lastly the tile. Alex didn’t install the counters, but he did notice the measurement discrepancy.
It’s not a massive difference, but even 1/4” off on one side would have been noticeable for someone sitting on the toilet. Alex pointed out the issue which delayed progress a little (not much in this case), but now the counters are even and everything aligns to that center line.
If someone else’s work is going to affect how our end product turns out, we’ll take the time to talk through options with you. We’ll make adjustments as needed so you can live with a product worth the money you spent.
By paying attention, checking each installation to his center line and always focusing on quality in his craftsmanship, Alex brings focus and intention to your projects.
Integrity. Quality. Accountability.
