Donna is off to Atlanta Market this weekend ✨

Yep — it’s a bit early this year. Atlanta Market opted NOT to overlap with the World Cup being hosted in Atlanta, so Summer Market was moved up almost a month earlier than usual.

Honestly… I’m not hating the change. Normally we come back from Summer Break, work a few days, and then turn right around and head back to market again 😅

While the last few weeks have been a little wonky with our normal routines around here, this tradition of heading to Atlanta twice a year is still one of the most important parts of how we buy for the Station and discover those special little pieces so many of you end up loving later in the season 💚

One of my favorite parts of Summer Market is beginning to look ahead toward:

🌲 Christmas
🪴 pottery
🎁 gift lines
🧩 puzzles
🏡 home goods
and all the little things that make the Station feel cozy later in the year.

Just a reminder that we have TWO Bouquet Bar dates happening this June with Slater Road Farms ✨

during Blooms & Brew evening at the Station

🌿 Saturday, June 27
🕘 9:00–11:00 AM
during our National Bingo Day Garden Party

No registration is required for the Bouquet Bar — simply stop in anytime during the event windows to build your own bouquet surrounded by flowers, herbs, plants, and summertime garden vibes 💚

Bouquet options:
💐 Petite Bouquet — $15
💐 Garden Bouquet — $25

✨ Important note:
City Seed will be OPEN LATE this Thursday evening during Blooms & Brew, so even if you’re not attending the tasting portion of the event, you are still welcome to stop in for the Bouquet Bar and summertime wandering through the shop 🌿

As our final Wednesday before Summer Break, we’re ending this season with a fun seaside-inspired morning filled with:

🎨 simple crafts
🍉 fun snacks
and lots of hands-on exploration for our littlest gardeners ☀️

Happy Tuesday from the kids corner at the Station 🌿☀️

I’ve had several people asking about Little Sprouts and whether we’ll be doing our older “Big Kids” drop-off program this summer, so I wanted to hop on and share a little update 💚

This summer, we’re intentionally keeping things a little simpler around here as we navigate staffing, events, travel, and all the behind-the-scenes business pieces that come with running the Station this time of year.

Because of that, we decided NOT to offer the larger drop-off style Big Kids program this summer as we just don’t have the staffing support needed to do it the way we would want to.

BUT — we ARE so excited to still be offering two Little Sprouts mornings this June led by Mrs. Marcie ✨

These smaller ages 2–5 sessions with caregiver participation allow us to keep creating sweet, hands-on mornings filled with stories, sensory play, crafts, snacks, flowers, and garden exploration while keeping things manageable for our team this season 🌿

And honestly… the kids corner is absolutely bursting at the seams right now with:
🐚 seaside books + games
🐢 ocean creatures
🌊 summer-themed activities
📚 puzzles + storybooks
and all kinds of little treasures for summertime wandering at the Station ☀️

We’re looking forward to soaking in a slower, sweeter summer with all of you 💚

Good morning and happy Tuesday 🌿

After a couple whirlwind weeks with adjusted hours from my getting sick and then traveling for a family funeral last week, I think we’re finally settling into summer rhythm again here at the Station 💚

The shop is feeling green again with:
🌿 plumosa ferns have finally returned
🌿 trailing hanging baskets
🌿 fresh herbs
🌿 tropicals filling back in
🌿 THREE types of begonias right now — rex, pink polka dot + red robin
🌿 puzzles, books, and little gifts tucked everywhere

AND Dan’s zinnias are starting to arrive again this week for the sercy vases 🌸

We’re looking forward to being back in our normal rhythm this week and soaking in a slower summer season at the Station ☀️

🌿✨ CALADIUM SEASON IS HERE ✨🌿

Honestly… this rainy stretch and warm soil is about as perfect as it gets for planting caladiums around here 💚

We moved all four boxes of bulbs onto the tier this week and still have some BEAUTIFUL varieties available including:

🍉 Red Flash
🤍 Candidum
🐸 Frog in a Blender
🌸 Carolyn Wharton

Caladiums are one of those plants that make summer gardens feel instantly lush and tropical — whether tucked into flower beds, porch pots, shady corners, or mixed containers.

And with more rain headed our way this week ☔, it’s actually a wonderful time to get them planted.

We’re looking forward to finally being back to our normal hours this week and would love to help you pick out some favorites 🌿🪏

🌿✨ BLOOMS & BREW ✨🌿

It’s the weekend and maybe you’re already thinking ahead a little to next week 💚

Marsha helped us round up the herbs this week and honestly… this basket smells like summertime.

Next Thursday during Blooms & Brew, guests will create their own herb syrup tasting flights using sparkling water and Charleston Tea from our friends at Kitchen Emporium ✨

One of my favorite things about summertime is slowing down just enough to enjoy simple things like herbs, tea, flowers, and gathering around a table together 🌿
