Please take a moment today to remember the significance of the D-Day operation that occurred on June 6, 1944. This operation brought together the land, air, and sea forces of the allied armies in what became known as the largest amphibious invasion in military history. If you have not visited the Anderson County Museum and toured the new 2500 SF military exhibit "Andersonians in War", today would be a great day to do so and pay your respects.

We are thrilled to share that Chapman Design Group, Inc. is celebrating a remarkable milestone - 30 years in business! It has been an incredible journey filled with creativity, passion, and the opportunity to bring nearly 500 private custom residential and commercial projects to life.

In the middle of December 1993 at the age of 27, I gave my two-week notice to leave Frank Clark Architects and “hang my own shingle”. On January 1, 1994 I founded my own firm with the sacrifice of a monthly salary but with strong determination, enthusiasm and faith. I rented a downtown storefront that a client owned and lived in the back as I could not afford both. And as God would have it… I met Amy in April of that same year on a blind date. Now fast forward 30 years and we celebrate working together to make our business what it is today.

As we reflect on this significant achievement, we want to express our deepest gratitude to our amazing clients who have entrusted us with their dreams and visions. Your unwavering support and collaboration have been the driving force behind our success. We are truly honored to have had the privilege of working with each and every one of you.

None of this would have been possible without the dedication, talent, and hard work of our exceptional “Group” members and craftsman throughout the years. Their commitment to delivering outstanding results has always been at the forefront of everything we do. To all past and present employees - thank you for being an integral part of Chapman Design Group's journey!

On a personal note, I feel incredibly blessed that God has bestowed on me a talent that I am deeply passionate about. The ability to create architecture that enhance people's lives is not only fulfilling but also allows me to make a living doing what I love.

As we embark on this new decade in business, we are excited current projects about and what lies ahead. Our commitment remains unwavering - providing exceptional design solutions tailored specifically for each client's unique needs.
