52 years ago this month 3/15/1974 I purchased Angola Greenhouse becoming Bella Terra Greenhouse. I operated it as a greenhouse growing vegetable and flowering plants for home gardens, potted plants for your church's and as a garden center for 50 spring seasons. I sold Bella Terra 3/15/2023, I wish they were doing something with it.

My second spring retired. I have mixed feelings, no not about being retired. I do miss my customers, helping them with their gardening. I also miss being able to get what I want for my gardens, I was spoiled to.

I was just told that John Miller passed away today January 10, 2025, in Florida. John was one of my close's friends. He built greenhouses all around the country, I worked on some of them with him. He helped me, I helped him, build some of Bella Terra's production greenhouses. He was very creative and a craftsman. Much of what you have enjoyed seeing inside Bella Terra's retail area was John's work including the greenhouse entryway. I have missed him and Ruth, his wife, since they move to Florida. I will long remember his friendship, thank him for his help and his service to our country in the Army in Vietnam.
