Our Nursery Production Class ended the term comparing root and top growth of plants in different container sizes and materials.
Throughout the summer, we traveled around Iowa to places such as Bentley Ridge, Jenkins Garden Market, and Pleasant Hill Parks and Rec to learn about Tree and Nursery Production.

Greenhouse 4 is open for the last time today (5/7) until 5 pm as a self-serve sale! Price lists have been updated. Stop in to see what annuals, perennials, veggies, trees, and shrubs are still for sale INSIDE greenhouse 4. Pictures in this post are of some of the items that are available.
NOTE: plants outside are NOT for sale.
(Plant lists and prices are only available in person. Faculty are working on final grades and students have finished their semester, so please do not ask about a particular plant or price- simply stop by to see the plants if you like supporting our fundraising efforts.)
