They connected with peers, learned from leaders in residential architecture, and explored how resilience shows up in every part of our design process.

♻️ 𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦, 𝘧𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦.

This 1980s split-level home in Cheverly, MD got a second life through thoughtful renovation—with every decision rooted in sustainability 🌿 and long-term livability.

We reorganized the existing footprint to enhance daily life for a family of five, while preserving much of the original structure to reduce embodied carbon and construction waste. 💡

🏡 Highlights include:
— Fully electric, fossil-fuel-free systems
— Triple-glazed windows, continuous insulation & tight air sealing
— Reclaimed materials and rain gardens
— Spa-like owner’s suite and flexible family spaces
— NGBS Gold Certification ⭐
