Have you heard that saying, “If I win the lottery, I wouldn’t tell anyone but there will be signs”? ✨

This dedicated gift wrapping and craft room from our recent concierge move in Rehoboth would be my sign!

This truly might be my favorite room we have ever organized (and we have done thousands of rooms over the years). It’s a combination of beautiful design from the luxury of having a dedicated space for creativity and a little retreat just for handling gifts and hosting.

The team and I had so much fun putting the finishing touches on this room. It is something special! ✨

After working with hundreds of families through their moves, the pattern is always the same. The people who start early and pack in the right order have a completely different experience than the ones who don’t. Calmer. More in control. Less likely to be shoving random items into garbage bags at midnight.

The sequence matters more than most people realize.
Your first boxes should be the easiest ones. Holiday decor, keepsakes, games and puzzles, guest bedroom linens, craft supplies, the garage. These are things you won’t miss for months. Get them packed and out of sight as soon as possible. It builds momentum and clears space to work.

From there, move into off-season clothes and shoes, kids’ books and toys they aren’t playing with daily, and non-essential kitchen items.

Label every box for where it’s going in the new house, not where it came from.

The kitchen comes second to last, and it will take longer than you expect. Every time, with every family. Start earlier than you think you need to and use far more packing paper than feels necessary.

Your bathrooms and daily essentials get packed last, the morning of the move, and they travel in your car.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s starting early enough that you’re not making decisions under pressure when you’re exhausted and overwhelmed.

That’s exactly what we do in our concierge move service. For a recent family in Annapolis, they gave us the keys, flew to Europe, and we handled all of the details. Every drawer organized, every bed made, every box gone. They walked in the door and just started living.

This is our concierge move service. The decluttering, the packing, the movers, the unpacking, the organizing. All of it, handled.

Last Mother’s Day, we gave away a kitchen transformation. And now, a week away from Mother’s Day 2026, we’re finally sharing the result. 💫

The space had its challenges, but that’s kind of our favorite part. Our team came in, got creative, and made it work beautifully. 🤍

By the time we were done, the pantry, spices, water bottles, silverware, and utensils all had a home. A real one. The kind that actually makes sense at 7am. This is what we love to do and moms deserve it most.🫶🏻
