Not trying to rush things but autumn is coming! Time to bring out the leaf rakes and decorate with pumpkins, corn stalks and straw bales.

All this rain has sure been nice compared to snow. The soft muddy ground is another story. Time to start our seeds for this years garden.

So this is a huge deal to me.... all the houses we work on and Scott finally found some time to be working on our home!

Working in sections he first chiseled out all the cracked and crumbling mortar and filled in all the gaps with new mortar, pretty close to 100lbs so far. After each section is level and dry he's been waterproofing the foundation. Makes a huge difference in keeping the basement warmer and dryer!

Wow looks like this weekend will be amazing weather! Just wish it could stay like this til about December 15... then come back around January 10 until spring. Who has plans for this weekend? Are you working outside or just planning to enjoy it while you can?
