Only one vitex left, it's been a great day! We have the best customers ever!!! Me, mother, Bill, Vickie and Jenny say THANK YOU for a great week in the shop. We are so thankful for the business and appreciate you all continuing to come back. Have a wonderful weekend. The Garden Shop will be open Saturday and Sunday but we will be closed on Monday. Vitex are in bloom!!! We just got in several three gallon pots at $19.95. Vitex are diciduous (loses their leaves over winter), full-sun loving, drought tolerant once established and very easy to maintain. They will reach about 15 feet tall and bloom purple this time of year for about three weeks. We only have six in the shop so come by and pick yours up!

It's not too late to get that veggie garden started. We have peppers, squash, tomotoes, eggplant, canteloupe, okra, cucumbers and compatible flowering annuals.....2 for a dollar! Can't beat that. We carry organic soil and fertilizer too. Come by and we will even sketch out how to lay it all out. We want you to be successful!

Word on the street is that pinestraw has been hard to come by due to eveyone getting ready for Home Tour. We offer pinestraw and we have plenty! It is very lucky straw....it has a lovely house built especially for it on the island that keeps it free of bugs, weeds and water. If you are looking for "clean" pinestraw, call The Garden Shop and we will bring it to you for a small fee. 850-653-1777!

More fresh and gorgeous herbs than we have had since fall. Prostrate and upright rosemary, varigated thyme, broadleaf and purple sage, cilantro, flatleaf and curly parsley, bronze fennel, dill, chives, lavender and more. Organic herbs coming late this afternoon. Cooking with garden fresh herbs makes eating better!

We are participating in The St.George Island Charity Chili Cook-Off tomorrow from 10-4. We are thankful that Angie Wood from Jacksonville will be doing most of the cooking!
