Another restoration project. This one hits close. This was a Christmas present I woke up to on 1995! Still waiting on some parts but it’s coming together nicely

The paint is metallic blue lacquer and I know it’s hard to see in the picture, but it has a copper diamond
 dust shimmer over it , in the sun. It looks crazy with the copper over the blue. That’s why I went with the little copper accents.

I have been on a restoration kick lately . This toolbox, which dates back to the 1940s, was given to my father by his father when he was younger. The restoration process required numerous hours, involving the replacement of every rivet, removal of every dent, and restoration of every component, but I found the experience thoroughly enjoyable, and now he can appreciate it once again.
