Did you know you can turn one store-bought plant into an entire garden? 🌿 Today I’m showing you the ultimate "Small Chaos" hack: dividing hostas! It’s the easiest way to get cheaper landscaping without spending a lot.
The Steps:
• Slide it out: Remove the plant from the nursery pot.
• Loosen the roots up: Gently tease that root ball apart.
• The Big Divide: Separate the sections so each has its own leaves and roots.
• Replant & Grow: Put your new "free" plants in fresh soil and watch them thrive!
I started with one plant and ended up with 3!🌿🌿🌿

I found these incredibly sad clearance plants at Walmart today and decided I had to try and save them. First is this Alstroemeria for five dollars. It's really wilted, but since I’m in Zone 8, it’s actually a perennial here! I think it just needs a good soak to bounce back. Then... the ultimate gamble. A three-dollar raspberry bush. It looks completely fried, but raspberries are super resilient, so I'm going to see if the roots are still alive. For three bucks, why not? Wish me luck and follow along to see if I can bring them back to life!

Regrowing your kitchen scraps is the ultimate zero-dollar garden hack. You literally just chop the base off your store-bought lettuce or celery, plop it in a glass of water, and put it in a sunny window.

The only rule to keeping these butts happy is changing the water every two to three days so it doesn't get slimy. Are you trying this yet?
