How “I’ll just pick up a few things for the garden at ” can hurt your chances of gardening success: they care about what sells, and we care about what performs in the Triangle.

If you’ve ever felt like a “bad gardener” or that you have a black thumb, it could just be where you’re buying from. Find a local farm (like us) or garden center that knows what performs in our area, how to ward off pests, and can give you good advice.

We’re ready for the this Saturday! Warm weather seedlings are ready for your garden now that the freezing weather is (hopefully) behind us: cucumbers and zucchini make their appearance this weekend.

Our non-GMO and organic seedling selection this weekend: spring greens, flowers, vegetables, herbs and a few other surprises!

Working in the winter garden is a joy. The final work is done for this season, taking out sweet potatoes, zinnia seeds and ginger while cutting back the asparagus and mulching for exceptional spring harvests. Planted garlic, and harvested LOTS of lettuce ahead of a nasty freeze (although it did just fine). If your garden is bare, or full of dead things, click for a garden consultation to set you up for success in the next season! You’ll be harvesting before you know it.

Particularly loving this view today. I learned the idea for this trellis and intercropping like this from (worth a follow). On the outside are onions, followed by green beans, tomatoes, calendula and more onion on the other side. An amazing use of space utilizing high intensity planting giving you 🌱 less weeds, 💧 less water needed, nutrients balanced and 🌼 beauty! A brilliant display.
