🚜 Lowney's Landscaping is growing, and so is our fleet. We're looking to add TWO full-time, year-round Shop Mechanics to our team:

✅ One experienced mechanic who can tackle just about anything that comes through the shop
✅ One mechanically inclined team member with a solid foundation who wants to learn, grow, and help keep our fleet running strong

From mowers and skid steers to trucks and everything in between, you'll play a key role in keeping our crews moving and our equipment operating at its best.

🦌 Meet our newest “employee”… Bambi! 🌿💚

While working on a landscape project, our crew came across this little guy tucked safely into the grass. Baby fawns are often left alone by their moms during the day while they go find food — and that’s completely normal! 😊

So what should you DO if you find a fawn? 👇

✅ DO:
• Keep your distance
• Keep pets and kids away
• Leave the fawn exactly where it is
• Watch from afar if you’re concerned

❌ DON’T:
• Touch or move the fawn unless it’s in immediate danger
• Assume it’s abandoned
• Feed it food or water
• Try to take it home

Mama deer is usually nearby and will come back when she feels it’s safe 🦌💕

🌸 Northeast Wisconsin is finally starting to show off a little color again 😍

If you’ve been noticing those stunning bright pink flowering trees around Appleton lately, you’re looking at Redbuds — and they’re near peak bloom right now! 🌿

This beautiful view is from the bell courtyard at the ThedaCare Cancer Center on the Encircle Health campus. Redbuds only put on this show for a short window each spring before the leaves fully emerge, which makes this time of year feel even more special. ✨

After the cold spring we’ve had, this is one of the best reminders that warmer days are finally ahead in Northeast Wisconsin ☀️

🌱Think your plants didn’t survive the winter? Don’t panic just yet😅

With this cold spring, we’re getting a LOT of calls about “dead” plants that are actually just dormant and waiting for some consistent warmth. Many plants — especially ornamental grasses 🌾 — LOVE the heat and are some of the last to wake up each season.

🌱💚 We’re proud to support an incredible community effort happening right here in Appleton!

On Saturday, May 23, volunteers will come together at Zion Lutheran Church-ELCA to help build a community garden for our Hmong neighbors in partnership with New Hmong and the Multicultural Coalition, Inc.. The garden will provide fresh produce that will be shared with local food pantries and families in need. 🍅🥬🌽

At Lowney’s Landscaping, we believe landscapes can bring people together — and we’re honored to donate landscaping supplies to help make this project possible. 🙌

If you’re looking for a meaningful way to give back, consider stopping out to volunteer! Every shovel, every helping hand, and every donation makes a difference. ❤️
