Hope all is well with everyone, This is the time of year we desire to give our home a facelift. As soon as the time change suddenly appeared, all at once we had the desire to cut the lawn, till the garden , wash the windows, and maybe paint that deterioring deck. The mold, black ,green, and slimmy is not conducive to picnics and relaxing. My remedy is just this ,LETS deal with it. Power wash ,bleach, sand rough edges, caulk big cracks , and use and proven stain or paint with a mildew resistant additive, and apply maximum milage and coats. Every two years the deck should be checked, so that with minimum maintanance, it wiil be maintained. I just reviewed a job I did two years ago. I called my customer and washed some areas and restained the tops of the railings, It looked brand new. It cost them $75.00. It is like anything else, if we keep up with our projects the savings are awesome. Mountain View Finishes takes pride in the projects we do and will keep up with, the customer to maintain that investment. Have a great spring.
