Completed brick restoration in Oakton! The border had separated from the field, and weeds were growing out of the masonry.

We removed the border entirely, and re-installed, good as new!

One of the considerations for any stone veneer project is the the shape and size of the stone.

The three most common cuts are:
-
Mosaic - Random shapes, pieced together like a puzzle.
-
Ashlar - Roughly rectangular in shape, these give a more structured look, common in a more formal setting.
-
Ledgestone - Longer, skinny pieces, sometimes with a stacked fieldstone look, or it can be done with a sawed dimensional look like the one pictured here.

Photos are of Chocolate/Coyote Gray by - the most common veneer product in our market.

Repairing the border on a brick walkway in Oakton. The edge had separated from the main path on both sides.

We'll have it looking good as new soon enough!

Completed front porch at Arlington Ridge. The new steps are wider and more inviting, while retaining the same look and feel of the original.

We did a complete remodel, completely removing the old steps, but we kept the stone from the demo to blend with new stone for the best possible match.
