Another beauty I won’t live without in my garden: Crossfield Ebony! This tiny pompon pumps out maximum blooms and is perfect for adding deep burgundy color to fall bouquets! This is a photo I took a few years ago, a perfect Crossfield Ebony bloom in the aftermath of a fall rain shower 💧

Another beauty that I won’t live without: Tapioca!! This creamy white beauty is not technically a waterlily dahlia but has a waterlily-like tendency with something extra: a more vigorous vase life than waterlilies! This bloom adds that beautiful touch of soft, airy texture that turns a meh bouquet into a YEAH bouquet!

Underrated bloom du jour: Bride to Be!
I absolutely love this flower! Not too big, not too small, but perfectly-sized for every bouquet! Beautiful,white waterlily blooms with an unusual chartreuse center. Bride to Be is a staple in my garden for all my pale and pastel bouquets, and my garden will never be without it!

Underrated dahlia du jour: Cheers!!

I absolutely love this variety! The color ranges from a deep smoky pink to a bronzy orange. Every season, I get a mass of blooms right up until frost, and it’s a generous tuber maker!
