This time last year. Deep sigh.....Never ever has my gratitude for being able to travel been deeper than now. I have always treasured having a diverse circle of friends. With people like my dearest (fabulous artist friend) I have been able to experience beautiful places, culture, food, art, sound and smells such as in her heavenly home of Mallorca. I pray for our world to heal, on so many levels, so that we can once again live and love beyond our borders.

This time last year. Never ever has my gratitude for being able to travel been deeper than now. I have always treasured having a diverse circle of friends. With people like my dearest (fabulous artist friend) I have been able to experience beautiful places, culture, food, art, sound and smells such as in her heavenly home of Mallorca. I pray for our world to heal, on so many levels, so that we can once again live and love beyond our borders.

My body is sore and my heart is full. Yesterday I joined and 3 other generous souls to transform a room and life for a wonderful young girl (and her family). The project was part of (SOHO). is an angel! In addition to being a fabulous designer, she is one of the most generous, kind, thoughtful and strong people I’ve ever met.

A family of 7 lives in 2 rooms. Not a 2-bedroom apartment- 2 rooms. The recipient of the room makeover, 10 year old girl, had never slept in her own bed.

I fell asleep with the sound of her joyous cries and that of her brothers: “I cant believe this, we feel like this is a dream, this has to be a dream, this is our house? This is so beautiful, I have always wanted a bed, thank you so much, we love you thank you”.

And I woke up with joy in my heart, hope and purpose in my soul, along with a remembrance of the true beauty and power of Interior Design.

My body is sore and my heart is full. Yesterday I joined and 3 other generous souls to transform a room and life for a wonderful young girl (and her family). Design is a crazy world!! Often if it can go wrong, it will and half the nutty stuff that happens I could never make up. Like a custom rug being on a ship that took on water and got damaged and then the company going out of business....SO here we are over a year later installing a rug in our client’s dining room. Thank goodness for the most sane and patient clients ever ❤️❤️❤️. And thank goodness for this beautiful rug!

This rug and I met yesterday and I can’t get it out of my mind ❤️. I want to put a hashtag “ruglove” but I am very afraid of what that may attract 😂. Anyway, hoping I can find a home for this beauty soon!
