MTFA Architecture

MTFA Architecture We shape culture, commerce, and community through creative design solutions.

Through forming working relationships centered on trust, integrity and respect, MTFA Architecture builds consensus around appropriate design drivers that facilitate lasting solutions. We guide toward responsible and sustainable growth while creating value for our clients. Our work forms important links to its context by being environmentally sustainable and socially formative. The resulting archit

ecture is clear, creative and beautiful - both timely and timeless. We know design excellence hinges not only on sound ideas but also on technical proficiency and constructible quality. Our ability to successfully combine these invaluable elements continues to lead to award winning work ranging from small additions to multi-million dollar master plans. Because, ultimately, we believe that people need and deserve more than shelter – they need to be inspired and cared for through design.

PROJECT UPDATE:
Gallaudet University’s Research & Innovation Hub

Our work on the Merril Learning Center project is in progress. Selective demolition is paving the way for a sustainable and innovative space that fosters collaboration and learning—preserving the building’s significance while ensuring its functionality for future generations. MTFA has collaborated closely with Gallaudet University and Fletcher Consulting, among others, to adaptively reuse this significant campus asset that will enhance the overall campus experience for students and faculty. Upper levels of the building will be removed and replaced with a welcoming, landscaped plaza and a light-filled atrium. Lower levels will undergo renovation and revitalization, creating a modern, engaging learning space. Stay tuned for more updates!
