As cooler weather rolls in don't forget to get ready for the Texas winter. Be prepared. It could be shorts and sandals Thanksgiving or it could be colder than witches... Nose. Also... Watering your foundation is still important. Although the temps are not burning hot if we have a dry winter the soils still need watering.

If you are buying a home make sure you understand what you are getting. Have it inspected. If need more have different trades to inspect it. Ask questions. Be wary of people that get upset and angry when you ask questions.

As we move in to cooler months now is the time for maintenance. Gutters and any drainage you may have should be clear of debris and free flowing. We still water the foundation even during the cooler months if it is dry. Remember even if it's cooler but we have no rain it is still dry and the soil can still dry out. Also take a look at your roof make sure it's free of debris especially around any protrusions that come through the roof valleys which can clog up with debris and fireplace and chimney.
