FREEZE WARNING over night tonight! We’d like to think we are being “the boy who cried wolf”…. But we spent countless man hours preparing based on this forecast. We are taking it seriously.

If you have not done so already,it’s a good idea to protect sensitive plants with cloths (like bedsheets), burlap, or plastic (ensuring the plastic does not touch the leaves) to trap ground heat.

What is a sensitive plant? Any deciduous plant (loses its leaves) that has started to leaf out, Any evergreen that has started its new growth cycle. Perennials, Annuals (including your vegetable garden) if you got anxious and planted already…. Get it covered!
