This was a fun finish to the 2020 season. The retaining wall and trees were completed several seasons ago, and now I've added steps and perennials that will add pops of color from late spring onward.

Happy Winter Solstice, looking forward to longer days to come.

Holy weather, Batman! 90's today...freezing temps and snow tomorrow! Prepare yourselves! And, for your happy garden spaces, make sure to water trees and perennials deeply if you haven't already. Wrap young trees (less than 2 years old) and knock snow from the branches as it accumulates. Protect any tender plants by covering them with pots or move them to a protected area out of the snow. Stay warm friends!
