Sometimes that's true.
But before comparing prices, make sure you're comparing the SAME product.
At Elite Fence and Railing LLC, we encourage every customer to review the following checklist with every company they receive a quote from:
✅ How deep are the posts being installed?
✅ How much concrete is used per post?
✅ Are the post holes bell-shaped for maximum holding strength?
✅ Is the fence built to meet our local wind zone requirements?
✅ Are panels evenly spaced, or will the last panel be cut short?
✅ Are rails mechanically fastened, or simply snapped together?
✅ What type of fasteners are being used?
✅ Is there a workmanship warranty?
✅ Is that warranty transferable?
✅ How long has the company been in business?
✅ Are they licensed and insured?
✅ What happens if a gate sags or a post moves in a few years?
✅Who is actually installing? Is the work being subbed out to another company?
