Even in the room housing one of the most iconic works of art in the world, there are “test swatches.”

Standing in front of David by Michelangelo today, I was in awe of the works realism… but I also could not help evaluating the backdrop color choices ❤️🇮🇹

A workout space should feel like a destination, not an obligation.

Designed to motivate, support daily routines, and reflect the passions that make showing up effortless.

Not pictured, but arguably the star of the space, is the machine seamlessly integrated into what was once a closet. A true rock-star move.

And yes, that is a mural of RTJ’s iconic 11th hole-an image rich with significance.

Sometimes the magic is in the details-and sometimes it is in seeing how they all come together.

These wider views show how layered moulding, intentional color placement, and thoughtful furnishings transform a two-story volume into a space that feels grounded, welcoming, and truly livable. What was once defined by scale is now defined by comfort-designed for everyday moments, family gatherings, and everything in between.

Two story spaces can be beautiful, but without intention they can feel impersonal or unfinished. Thoughtful carpentry and architectural detailing are often the difference between a room that simply looks impressive and one that feels warm, balanced, and livable.

By introducing layered moulding, custom elements, and visual structure, scale becomes an asset in this space, rather than a challenge- allowing everyone, even the dog, to cozy up.
