A little before and after on a big paint job. Ceiling walls and trim all needed major repair, and were all a version of yellow. The mustard lounge is no more.

The life of self-employment and parenthood. Sometimes we don’t get to play all day but instead has to follow me to a site. Never the ideal, but this girl handles it with grace and curiosity. Not to mention she looks pretty adorable with a mud pan in her hand!

I’m so grateful to all of you that have allowed me to bring this girl along. The ones that chat her up about her life, the cookie providers, and cinnamon rolls (like this morning). Without you, I couldn’t make it work. Thank you!

I can’t explain how important water management and proper drainage is! This one drain line I installed yesterday collects the water from six different gutter downspouts.

Previously there was no drain line, meaning all six of those downspouts dropped all the water at the foundation. Now they are dealing with eroding foundation walls, mold in the crawl space, and complete removal of insulation in that crawl space. Start ahead and keep your home safe.

Sweet little outdoor space update wrapped up this morning. They like to sit around this old fireplace in the backyard, but really wanted to make it sit apart from the yard, and be able to hang their hammocks. Big 6x6 posts, some landscaping, a lot of river rock, and a lot of love. It was a real joy to work on this one. Thanks Kelly!
