💚TIPS ON SHOPPING THE HERB FEST💚

Danni Speight of shares a few tips that can help your experience at the be enjoyable and rewarding!

😃 New Location at the WNC Ag Center, Expo Building enter at gate 5!!

•Wear comfortable shoe, there’s lots to see

•Comfortable clothing that may get dirty, it is a plant show😉

•Cash- $1-$5-$10 Not all vendors take credit cards and remember the cost of everything has increased so please be kind to the vendors as they have no choice but to increase price as well.

•Wagon/buggy will make hauling all your good finds easier

•Bring old plant trays reusable grocery bags or plastic bags. They help with carrying plants out

•Have your list ready so you don’t forget your basic items

•Most importantly bring your best attitude, plants grow better under good vibes and everyone is there to have a good weekend

•Festival begins 8:30am on Friday morning

•To avoid big crowds, shop at the opening and closing of each day.

•Attend the FREE workshops and ask lots of questions🌱🌱

The Asheville Herb Fest runs April 29th through May 1st!

What deep nourishment it is to gather in person, to hug and smile with our eyes, to pet and be petted, to just stand next to each other. What great healing the earth brings, in myriad forms: on our knees planting, gathering, peering more closely....

What joy a celebration of community creates, for us it is this weekend of which for over 30 years has offered us a chance to come together and celebrate that unique weaving together of human and nature.

After a year absent in the warp and weft of this community loom we came back together, without skipping a beat, like the sudden uprising of the chorus of birds at dawn, joyfully!

When I came home from the gathering my bloomed for my first time. I had gotten so many rose products from *her stuff is amazing! And I was propelling myself by ‘s bright and dazzling Adrenal tonic. And stumbled on to this unassuming bloom.

What it is to rise and bloom and fall, to rise again within these mountains and encircled in this community is a blessing, thank you for still being out there and doing your thing with renewed purpose and joy.

We will be selling our frozen elderberries for making your own elderberry syrup, our very own honey-based and sugar-based elderberry syrup, elderberry plants, our CBD H**p Flower and other medicinal perennials along with some fall greens (spinach and kale) at the WNC Herb Fest Fall Plant Sale this Saturday (10/10) at Highland Brewery in Fairview!
