Logan Restoration and Contracting

Logan Restoration and Contracting Providing Asheville and surrounding areas with window restoration and contracting services with a focus on preservation and excellence.

An Asheville transplant raised in Texas I was brought up with an honest work ethic and southern hospitality. Growing up, my grandparents taught me the importance of good old-fashioned hard work and respect for others. I try to carry on this theme today. I moved to Asheville a little over six years ago after graduating from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Managem

ent. Since my junior year of high school I have spent time training and working in a variety of professional construction fields. This experience has offered me a well-rounded understanding and common sense approach to my business. After moving to Asheville and working almost specifically with pre-1935 homes I have developed a passion for restoration. The past two years I have spent growing my own business with a focus on window restoration. I look forward to serving the restoration and contracting needs of my fellow Ashvillians.

More and more often we are being asked by homeowners to restore their painted doors back to the original wood. We take our time stripping and sanding to a smooth finish that is ready for stain.

It’s rewarding to remove the many layers of paint to find the beautiful grain and little scuffs and cracks that tell the story of many generations that have used these doors over their 100+ years serving the home.

Sometimes, we find more damage than expected - but we make it work! This project consisted of 5 interior doors. When we found a large, patched hole in one of the panels, our carpentry team came to with the bright idea to put a thin veneer panel over it. Then they had fun adding character to it so that it would match the scuffs and scrapes of the old beauties. 🚪

Our Story

An Asheville transplant raised in Texas I was brought up with an honest work ethic and southern hospitality. Growing up, my grandparents taught me the importance of good old-fashioned hard work and respect for others. I try to carry on this theme today. I moved to Asheville in 2007, after graduating from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. Since my junior year of high school I have spent time training and working in a variety of professional construction fields. This experience has offered me a well-rounded understanding and common sense approach to my business. After moving to Asheville and working almost specifically with pre-1935 homes I have developed a passion for restoration. The past 10 years I have spent growing my own business with a focus on window restoration. We have a highly skilled and dedicated team that can tackle any historic window project you have. I look forward to serving the restoration and contracting needs of my fellow humans.
