I paint colorful buildings and other subjects in acrylic on canvas. I take a loose and fun approach expressing in a vibrant way rather than a strict interpretation. I do fun commissions of buildings especially.

These two are at the Black Mountain Center for the Arts in the Art in Bloom exhibit. I had fun painting at "Blooms WNC" farm. Those clouds did move in with the promised storm so the bouquet went home with me to finish it up after I dried off.

It was wonderful painting out with others today. Asheville Plein Air Painters is such a great group. Weaverville is a charming town and Well Bred Bakery's blue awnings just had to be painted. This lil' guy is 9"x12" but tons of fun.

And the world keeps spinning. We put together a new wall at the Asheville Gallery of Art. Local peeps, walk in the door and these fall colors will greet you! The leaves fall from the trees but you can have the colors with you always!
