Meet Kevin Brygidowicz, our new Complex Projects & Craftsmanship Lead. With 30 years of construction experience, he works across job sites, supporting our crews on the more technical parts of each project, from structural work to detailed finish carpentry.

“A typical day for me is helping crews learn better or different ways of doing the tasks they have been assigned,” Kevin says. “That makes the job smoother and more efficient, leaving the client with a positive experience.”

Recently, the Scroggs team partnered with the Veterans Healing Farm in Mills River to build a covered performance stage for concerts, ceremonies, and workshops.

With support from 84 Lumber Company, Best Buy Metals Asheville, and Ridge Roofing—along with more than 30 hours of volunteer labor and a whole lot of heart—the project quickly moved from vision to reality. Alan Yeck, executive director of the farm, says a traditionally funded version of the project could have taken one to three years to complete and cost upwards of $45,000 to $50,000.

We’re honored to have played a role in creating a space for community and connection.
