Prillaman Systems Job Opening for Part-Time Warehouse Associate in Ashland, VA

Job Description:
-Unloading, auditing, accepting, logging, and shelving all incoming deliveries
-Pulling orders for immediate pick up or packaging them for shipment
-Maintaining documentation for inventory tracking and customer invoicing
-Monitoring inventory levels by conducting physical counts on a pre-determined schedule & reconciling with data storage system
-Staging equipment and parts for specific service jobs
-Maintain job costing reports for all consumable materials & small tools as required
-Able & willing to interact in a professional manner with customers, truck drivers, & vendors as needed. This includes in-person, phone & email interactions, will-calls, and walk-in customers picking up items that are pulled and ready as they arrive
-Ability to answer phones when needed & record customer contact info and parts details necessary to complete orders
-Ability to be trained on incoming products to ensure accurate inventory management, staging, & customer service
-Ability to be trained on the computing process for walk-in customer orders & will-calls
-Directly responsible for maintaining a clean warehouse to ensure the safety of all personnel
-Ability to be trained in the use, care, and safe operation of the warehouse forklift
-Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures & protocols
-Provide input to supervisor as needed for possible expenditures & suggested process improvements
-Perform any and all other tasks requested by your supervisor throughout the day

Job Requirements:
-Must be capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling weights in excess of 75 lbs on a regular basis

Preferred Experience & Capablities:
-Have intermediate computer skills including usage of Microsoft Products & ERP/inventory database entry/navigation
-Basic understanding of mechanical components of cooling towers, including shafts, electric motors, fan belts, gear reducers, and valves for the purpose of identification, storage, and distribution to jobs
-Basic customer service and/or sales experience

The Morin Company, Prillaman Systems, Morin Distribution and CTHX are designated as essential businesses and will continue to operate in PA,VA, DE, MD and DC. We are open and our manufacturers are open.

We have developed an aggressive plan to adhere to the CDC's- COVID-19 Guidelines to help mitigate the spread of the virus and still be of service to our customers. We have implemented measures and procedures to ensure the welfare of our employees and customers, including:

-Practicing Social Distancing at the office and out in the field.

-Cleaning our offices multiple times a day.

-Workers that can work remotely are, but all our services are uninterrupted.

-Asking our customers to go to the help desk in the back of the building instead of entering the main building.
