Founded in the 1970's by the local Cline family, The Buckeye Home Center was established to blend quality products and fair prices with personal relationships in the everchanging home improvement space. Of course, saving 30% off of retail is probably enough to bring anyone in, but honestly, it's being treated like family that keeps our clients and friends coming back to save and do more. Our 23,00
0 square foot facility houses thousands of doors, trim profiles, panels, flooring, cabinetry, and hardware, and allows us to custom make in our own shop, anything that we don't have in stock. We're taking 2023 to introduce a brighter online presence, with online ordering, and shipped to site delivery! Over the past 50 years, we've been delivering smiles to families, contractors, and investors with every order, reinvesting in the community, and we'd sure love the opportunity to serve with a greater impact as we continue to expand and grow. About Us
Les & Ethel Cline
Founders
Ethel could tell you stories for days about developing this little town, building Ashville by hand, breeding horses, raising a family and 81 years of experience, successes, and real life tales that would blow your mind. Starting out as a dairy farm, this little plot of land has blossomed into one of the best known secrets to cater to the frugal and pennywise when it comes to remodeling materials and custom doors and trim. I loved the experience of working with Ethel for the past several years so much, it only took me a couple of those years to convince her to let me buy it and allow her to truly retire. Being entrusted to add on to Ethel's legacy while maintaining the same care and customer experience every time, is a true honor, but it doesn't come without feeling the weight of the world and wanting to make as deep of an impact. Coming from Ashville, with nearly 20 years in construction, over a decade in real estate investing, and building companies with meaningful impact, the leadership team plans to keep the family legacy thriving, while adding easier and faster ways to get the same level of service and same quality of products. Ethel and I are both cancer survivors with hearts for seeing the world become a better place. I just hope that my military experience has prepared me to be as tough and sharp as she is, while still showing my heart to serve each one of you with the same promises.
