Step inside our newest Snowmass project!

We wanted this entire home to feel light, airy, and inspired by the breathtaking mountain views right outside.

It’s our take on balancing modern architecture and cozy mountain living. How did we do?

Our favorite way to instantly make a space feel cohesive?

Creating continuity through materials also known as material drenching.

Working with the already existing darker wood colors in the ceiling beams and floor, we created the counters and backsplash out of the same warm brown slabs.

Carrying this material throughout the space creates a clean, coordinated look that makes our clients feel like they’re walking into their own modern mountain lodge everytime they come home.

Storage usually gets hidden in a closet or a mudroom. Here, we put it in the dining room and treated it like fine furniture.

This home gets used year-round, so it needed room for a lot of stuff. We lined one wall with custom floor-to-ceiling millwork in warm, tonal wood and built a seating nook into the center, framed around an original piece of art.

Close the doors and the clutter disappears. What’s left is a tailored, paneled wall with a bench, as refined as the dining table beside it.

Still soaking in all the views from our latest Snowmass install!

Thank you to our amazing clients for trusting me with your space - like letting me style this beautiful shelf and choosing the coziest fabric for your dining chairs.

I live for every moment from start to finish, and that’s what makes doing what I do worth it.

POV: Coming home feels like a private mountain retreat because this is your bedroom.

When it came to this space, we focused on combining natural rustic elements with modern details.

Here’s how we did it:
-Floor-to-ceiling vertical wood wall paneling for continuous texture
-Statement bed frame in a rich forest green velvet
-Chic, minimalist hanging pendants
-Sleek rounded nightstands
-Cozy geometric rug to anchor the bed

Maybe.. I trust the process. I love how our latest restaurant project turned out!

After more than 10 years in this business, I’ve learned to trust that all the moving pieces will come together. For this space, it was actually still a construction site right up until install day, and I’m thankful for all the hard work and collaboration and can’t wait to share the final result!

The secret to styling statement shelves?

→ Knowing when to leave space open.

It might sound counterintuitive, but when when styling these shelves, our goal was to strike the balance between filling spaces with art and leaving intentional negative space.

We incorporated sculptures, books, and plants while giving each piece room to breathe and showcasing the beauty of the wooden shelves.
