Miles of electrical wire later, all of the wiring was moved from where they came through the floor into the old laundry room wall, up and back down the vaulted ceiling into the new kitchen wall. We built a wooden chase around the wiring, scribing the sides into the log walls. The base cabinets will start going in tomorrow. Countertop template is next week. This project is moving along.

A lot of work went into this before and after. We now have a blank slate to build a brand new kitchen!

Phase one is complete. We removed the small shower so that we could relocate the laundry to the bathroom. This was done so that we can remove the walls of the old laundry room to accommodate a bigger kitchen. Don't worry, there are two more showers in this home!
