Anyone can pick a stone. The edge is where the real design decision happens.

It’s the detail most homeowners don’t think about until they’re standing in the showroom, but it changes the entire feel of a countertop.

A soft eased edge reads calm and simple.
A bullnose feels classic and family-friendly.
An ogee brings in a little more formality and detail.
A clean mitered edge makes the slab look thicker and more substantial without changing the stone at all.

None of these are “better.” They’re just different personalities for the same space.

Part of what we do is help you match the edge to the kitchen or bathroom you’re actually building, not just the one in the inspiration photo.

One of our favorite things to do is helping our clients show off their own work.

This project was a showroom for local contractor, and we used a few different stone options to make it happen. It’s neutral and refined enough to play well with the warm wood cabinetry on one side of the kitchen and the painted cabinetry on the other. It’s proof that the same stone can create 2 completely different vibes, which is helpful for homeowners trying to imagine their own renovations.

Not every install is a kitchen or a bathroom.

Sometimes it’s refreshing the surfaces for offices, front desks, and other business applications. We love these projects because it can give what is otherwise a boring and unnoticed space a really fun facelift!
