They’re back!

Nearly ten years ago we were tagged in a post where someone had seen this idea. It was an honor that our little shop had been mentioned, but I had no idea at the time what those soldiers and the requested prayers would have become. Over the next months and years we gave away thousands. It blew my mind when I’d look outside and see a group holding hands and/or bowing heads in prayer, or the gratitude from military families. We had mothers, sisters, brothers, and all how had a soldier they loved, run in to say, “That’s my son you’re praying for!” (Or who ever the member was) We’ve heard stories, shared tears, made life long friends, and celebrated the good news of a soldier coming home or being promoted and recognized. I’ve witnessed someone of every age take one, and the greatest is seeing a young child, with the purpose explained, light up in excitement for the mission!

Who would have thought that a box of little toy soldiers would have made such an impact. It goes to show how great our God is and the power of prayer… even because of a small plastic toy.♥️🇺🇸

So come by and grab one!😁

It was such an incredible honor to spend time with Ms. Eileen, who built bombers during WWII, during our fun fundraiser for a great cause. Thank you to all of the amazing heroes of our community and those who support!♥️🇺🇸

Many thanks to EVERYONE who came to Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream yesterday for Cobb Veterans Memorial Foundation's Ice Cream Social yesterday and to visit Cobb County's very own Rosie the Riveter, Ms. Eileen.
She said she had a wonderful time eating ice cream and talking to new friends.
