✨ More than a restaurant. An experience. ✨

Back in March, we had the opportunity to install the interior plants and exterior planters at Casi Cielo on the Eastside Atlanta Beltline 🌿

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere makes you slow down and enjoy being there. The warm textures, vibrant patio, thoughtful design, incredible service, and beautiful energy all come together to create an experience—not just a meal.

Casi Cielo brings authentic Oaxacan flavors to Atlanta, and every detail feels intentional. And yes… the food is absolutely amazing. My personal favorite? The desserts 🍰✨ (save room—you’ll thank me later).

Seeing our plants become part of that feeling makes projects like this so special.

Have you been yet? What was your favorite dish—or favorite part of the experience? 👇

Sometimes the prettiest gardens aren’t the brightest ones.
A simple mix of purple and blue perennials can feel peaceful, timeless, and full of life.

Bonus: pollinators usually love them too 🦋

🌿🏆 Award-Winning Garden Design Recognition 🏆🌿
We are honored to share that Arcoiris Design LLC has received Gold and Earth Aware Honor awards in the 2026 GALA Awards for our project, The West Paces Ferry Formal Kitchen and Pollinator Garden, in the Residential ($25,000–$100,000) category.
The Gold Award recognizes projects that greatly exceed all judging criteria, while the Earth Aware Honor celebrates designs that create a positive environmental impact through innovation and sustainable best practices.
This garden was envisioned as a space that is both beautiful and purposeful—blending formal garden structure with productive kitchen gardens, pollinator-friendly plantings, and family-focused spaces. Designed to enrich the landscape while supporting biodiversity, the project demonstrates how elegant residential gardens can also contribute to environmental stewardship.
We are especially grateful for the judges’ thoughtful comments:
“I could live in this garden.”
“Excellent ex*****on, love the structure of this garden.”
“Very visible public view, great to incorporate the kid’s area, boxwoods appropriately sized and placed.”
“Terrific use of this large space to beautify and provide food.”
“Fits well into this grand landscape.”
We extend our sincere thanks to the judges and to everyone who contributed to bringing this vision to life. Recognition like this inspires us to continue creating landscapes that are beautiful, functional, and environmentally responsible.

🦋 Turn Your Garden Into a Butterfly Paradise 🦋

Butterflies need two things: sun + nectar-rich flowers. Plant a mix of bloom times so your garden feeds them from spring through fall.

🌿 How to plant:
• Choose a location with 6–8 hours of sun
• Improve soil with compost if needed
• Space plants to allow airflow
• Water deeply after planting and keep evenly moist until established
• Avoid pesticides—they harm butterflies and caterpillars

Plant descriptions:

🪻 Butterfly Bush (Buddleia) – Fast-growing shrub covered in fragrant blooms that attract many butterfly species. Plant in full sun with good drainage.

🌸 Coneflower (Echinacea) – Tough perennial with daisy-like flowers and long bloom season. Plant in full sun; drought tolerant once established.

🧡 Lantana – Heat-loving plant with clusters of colorful flowers. Great for hot, sunny areas and blooms continuously.

💜 Verbena – Airy flowers butterflies love. Plant in full sun and avoid overwatering.

🧡 Butterfly W**d (Asclepias tuberosa) – Native milkweed and an important host plant for monarch caterpillars. Plant in full sun and leave roots undisturbed.

🌼 Black-Eyed Susan (Rudbeckia) – Bright native blooms that attract butterflies and pollinators. Easy to grow in sunny beds.

💜 Salvia – Long spikes of flowers that provide nectar for butterflies and bees. Plant in full sun and prune lightly after blooms.

🌸 Pentas – One of the best butterfly plants for summer color. Loves warmth and regular watering.

🌻 Sunflower – Large blooms attract pollinators and add height to the garden. Direct sow or transplant in sunny areas.

💜 Aster – Late-season blooms provide important nectar when other flowers fade. Plant in sun to part shade.
