When the product knowledge meeting includes custom ombré rugs, I’m paying attention. ✨
The Myers Flooring sales team recently spent time with our rep from Nature’s Carpet—a company known for its natural wool broadloom and commitment to more environmentally responsible flooring. Its collections range from wool and wool-blend carpets to its “Dark Green” options, which feature 100% undyed wool, natural backings and adhesives, and no added chemicals or insecticides.
They also offer commercial-grade, low-pile patterns for hospitality and contract projects, along with some very fun custom rug capabilities.
The custom ombré rugs are always especially popular with our designers—and it’s easy to see why. Handcrafted in Thailand, they are available in numerous standard colors or can be custom-colored. Choose New Zealand wool for a beautifully soft, natural appearance or nylon for a subtle, silky luster.
Consider this your reminder that custom does not always have to mean complicated. Sometimes a gorgeous color story is all you need.

Apparently in its day, s**g carpet came in 15 iridescent colors and was considered “exciting new carpeting for the swingin’ set.” 😂

I’m not suggesting we bring all of this back... although I have to admit, there’s something kind of fabulous about that blue.

One of my favorite installs from this year ✨
A beautifully curved staircase wrapped in Farrah (Hunter/Pearl) by Prestige Mills—a subtle dot, animal-print wool Wilton that knows how to behave… but still has a little personality 😉
This stair had curves for days, and the result turned out so fabulously! 💚 More importantly, my client was thrilled—which is always the real win.
I don’t post a ton of my installation photos, but this one deserved its moment. And as 2025 wraps up, I just want to say thank you to all of my amazing clients this year. I’m incredibly grateful for the trust, the creativity, and the fun projects.
