"Thank You" to the Lazarevic family for sharing with us!...
This morning I was happy to see such a long line for voting; however, my three-year-old and three-month-old were not nearly as patient as I was. After standing in line over an hour, I thought I’d have to leave without voting because they couldn’t wait any longer, but then my new hero, Lt. John Hamrick, invited my son to sit with him. He chatted with my son and kept him entertained making it possible for me to make my way through the line and vote.
I planned to teach my son a lesson about voting today, but Lt. Hamrick taught him so much more. I couldn’t be more proud of our city’s fine officers, particularly Lt. Hamrick.
My son’s is right; Lt. Hamrick is the “coolest cop ever!”
Thanks for all you fine people in the Fairhope Police Department do in addition to keeping us safe!
