Hard work pays off! We planted this bed about a month ago, and before that it was just lawn. We buried bokashi. Tilled and raked the grass then mulched it all with Napier grass. Were mainly growing roselle and sweet potatoes for the fall but we've included zinnias, sunnhemp, and cowpeas as an interplanted covercrop.

Question, how do y'all like to use your dwarf orinoco bananas? I'd like to cook some but ive heard they're pretty tasty when they ripen.

Today, we added 2 mangos to the ends of these biomass beds that were planted last September. The grasses were all able to be cut and used as mulch in the new area. Around the mangos, I seeded and planted some along with some more bunching grasses.
Stay tuned for updates as this explodes with growth over the summer.
