Good evening ! Just wanted to give yall a peek into today's adventure! Today we had the opportunity to offer one of our rougher services out of a very wide range of services that we specialize in! This tree feel right over their path and needed it cut down safely into manageable chunks(we call cookies 😆) . We pride ourselves in handling each job accordingly to the specific situation and surrounding environments that change per job correctly , timely and in a professional manner!

🚨 This is just the beginning, y’all. 🚨

We had our first emergency call of the day already — a busted pipe caused by the cold. Thankfully, we were able to get out there quickly, stop the damage, and get things handled. The homeowner is safe, relieved, and happy… and that’s exactly why we do this.

HomeGrown Handiman is LOCAL.
We live here. This is our community. These are our neighbors.
We’re not storm chasers, and we’re not here to make a quick dollar and disappear once the weather clears. We’ll be here long after the storm passes, standing behind our work and helping however we can.

We’re also not out here charging an arm and a leg or taking advantage of people during emergencies. Our focus is keeping folks safe and stopping small problems before they turn into big, expensive ones. We work with any budget and are always honest about what actually needs to be done.

This weather is no joke, and if today is any indication, this won’t be the last emergency we see. If you’re dealing with:

With this ice storm moving in, we want our community to know that HomeGrown Handiman is on call 24/7 — before, during, and after the storm.

We have chainsaws, rigging equipment, and storm-response tools staged and ready, and we also have an experienced professional arborist / tree climber & cutter on staff specifically for this storm. That means we can safely handle hazardous trees, broken limbs, and storm-related tree emergencies.

More than anything, this is about helping our community get through the storm safely. We’re not here to price-gouge or take advantage of an emergency. We will work with any budget and do our best to help however we can.

🛶🌊 THE ETERNAL EXPLORER: Aleksander Doba’s Incredible 5,400km Legacy! 🏔️⚖️ A Final Peaceful Rest! 🦁🛡️

The world of adventure lost a true titan in 2021, but the story of Aleksander Doba remains a beacon of human endurance. 🏛️📜 The Polish kayaker became a global sensation for crossing the Atlantic Ocean solo, not once, but three times—entirely under his own power. 🌊💎 His final crossing in 2017 was perhaps his most impressive, completed at the age of 70. 📉🛡️ Doba spent months alone in his custom-built kayak, "Olo," battling 30-foot waves and blistering sun to prove that age is merely a number. 🛰️✨

Doba’s final adventure took him to the roof of Africa: Mount Kilimanjaro. 🏗️🌊 After successfully reaching the 19,341-foot summit in February 2021, the 74-year-old explorer was reportedly in high spirits. He asked his guides for a brief two-minute break before posing for the traditional summit photo. 📉📈 He sat down on a rock to catch his breath, and according to those with him, he "just fell asleep," passing away peacefully at the highest point of the continent he loved to explore. 🔬🧼

Aleksander Doba’s life is a magnificent example of a life lived to the absolute fullest. 🌡️📈 He defied the conventional boundaries of aging, showing us that the "golden years" can be spent conquering oceans and mountains. His peaceful passing at the summit of Kilimanjaro is seen by many as a fitting end for a man who never stopped moving toward the next horizon.
