As of June 10, 2018 we are closed for business. Thank you for an amazing 34 years. We are officially retired! We seed 90% of our seedlings!

Black-Eyed Susan's is located in Augusta, Maine (off from Riverside Drive) near Maine-ly Gymnastics close to the Augusta/Vassalboro town line. We are a small family business that prides itself on healthy & hardy plants.

The stand was just restocked with planters and hanging baskets full of fresh mixed local evergreens, red winterberries and a festive bow. $23-$25 while supplies last. These planters will last outside until spring!

PERENNIALS: Achillea-the pearl & juncus (curly wurly grass)
HERBS: basil- holy, camomile, lemon balm, oregano, parsley, peppermint, sage, spearmint & thyme.
VEGETABLES/fruit: cauliflower, cucumbers (boston pickling, white pickling, bush hybrid),kale, peppers (Anaheim chili, serrano, & shish*to), pumpkins (Howden-orange large carving, baby bear-pie), squash-delicata, buttercup, butternut) tomatoes (cherry-black cherry, super sweet 100, sunsugar, yellow pear. Aunt Sue and Uncle Dave's "Golden Boy" Murphy came to greet me at the farm stand today and my heart smiled BIG. He's 15 and those that visited Black-Eyed Susan's years ago likely remember our sweet greenhouse greeter. ❤️
The stand was just restocked with the LAST of the basil, broccoli and cucumber seedlings. New annuals were also added today.

The farm stand has been restocked! New seedlings added today: non stop begonias, impatiens, lobelia, dwarf teddy bear sunflowers, feverfew (perennial) foxglove (biennial), achillea the pearl (perennial baby's breath like flower), succulent planters, black eyed susan vine baskets, yellow petachoa, gomphrena, castor bean, nasturtium, cerinthe (kiwi blue honeywort), euphoria, bacopa, Cherokee purple heirloom tomatoes, and my favorite ....double blue butterfly pea vines (these climb 15', love hot sun, have culinary usage, and attract hummingbirds)

HELLO!! The farm stand will be open for the next few weeks. I will be stocking the stand with new vegetable seedlings, as well as annuals, perennials, baskets and planters daily (until sold out)
Available today (seedlings): broccoli,cucumbers (pickling and slicing), cabbage, cauliflower, cantaloupe, herbs, kale, peppers (sweet and hot), tomatoes (slicing and cherry), pumpkins, squash (summer, zucchini, buttercup, butternut, delicata, spaghetti) Swiss Chard and pac choi
Annuals- alyssum, baby's breath, bunny tails grass calendula,calibrachoa, coleus, celosia, cosmos, cleome, dianthus dusty miller, datura, petunias (regular and waves), snapdragons, nicotiana, marigolds, portulaca & salvia
Perennials- beebalm, Shasta daisies, penstemon, hens&chicks, wave pansies, primrose & curly wurly grass.
All plants have been grown pesticide free.
The farm stand will be open 7 days a week 8am-7pm. Cash, check and Venmo accepted. Thank you for supporting our small local business. .
