Harrisburg Community Garden The Garden was a place that facilitated the growth of a community by sharing, learning, and having fun making friends.

The Garden was a project coordinated by Denice Traina that started in 2008 with the collaboration of many good people of Harrisburg and other places in Augusta, Georgia. This page is being kept for information only and is not being monitored daily. The Porch Library, the Veterans Peace Park and the Historic Harrisburg Community Council no longer are active. Works behind the scene in process and progress.

Hoping that one day we will reinvigorate the Harrisburg Community Garden space to include medicinal plants. We are waiting for the current owner to give the go ahead.
