The power goes out, and suddenly everybody in the house becomes an electrician.
Dad's checking the breaker box for the fifth time. Mom's reminding everybody not to open the refrigerator. The kids are asking if the Wi-Fi is coming back, and somebody's standing at the light switch like flipping it one more time might change something.
And let's not forget the person who says, "Well, back in my day, we didn't need all this electricity."
Sir/Ma'am, respectfully, we're trying to save the groceries.
All jokes aside, a home is more than four walls and a roof. It's where your family gathers, where memories are made, where your children feel safe, and where you find comfort after a long day.
When the power goes out, it's not always the lights we miss most. It's the little things we often take for granted. A warm meal, a comfortable night's sleep, keeping medications refrigerated, and knowing our loved ones are okay.
A generator doesn't make a house a home. It helps protect the comfort and routines that make it feel like one.
At Core Generator Services, we believe preparedness isn't about expecting something bad to happen. It's about caring enough to be ready if it does.
Because when the lights go out, the love doesn't have to. And with the right backup power, neither does everything else.
Now, be honest. Who in your household is going to check the light switch 15 times during an outage?
