Painters District Council No. 30

Painters District Council No. 30 PDC 30 is a union construction trade organization representing painters, drywall finishers & glaziers across North-Central IL. linktr.ee/paintersdc30

Together, our members achieve a powerful voice in bargaining for wages, benefits & working conditions. Members of Painters District Council No. 30 (PDC 30) are construction craftspersons who work in the finishing trades as either apprentices or journey workers represented by PDC 30, one of 34 District Councils of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT). They are painters and

decorators, drywall finishers, and glaziers. As with all unions, some members may either work for PDC 30 or one of its affiliated entities, or serve as a representative, leader, or training instructor in addition to working in the field. And, some members go on to become owners and operators of companies that provide finishing services and retain their membership status.

On Saturday, June 6th, PDC 30 hosted their 18th Annual Member Appreciation Picnic & STARs Award Ceremony in Aurora, Illinois. The event included a BBQ lunch, carnival rides, face painting, PATCH prize raffles, a health fair, a blood drive, biometric screenings, a vendor fair, commemorative 100th anniversary shirts and giveaway items for members and children, and special drawings for STARs qualifying members. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our STARs qualifiers and PDC 30's 100-year anniversary - and congratulations to our big winners, Arturo Ochoa and Edgar Garcia!
