Hi everyone!! Hope you're all well.

We have a unique project to share with you all.

This PBY restoration has been entirely “under the radar” for the last 15 + years.

The project has included structural restoration work to a level previously unheard of in an PBY project we are aware of. The scope and detail of the work completed is stunning and inspirational.

It is time to find a new custodian with the vision to compete the aircraft.

With almost all of the “hard” work completed - this project would serve as a spectacular foundation for anybody with a desire to operate the finest example of this large multi engine flying boat. Finish her out as the aerial yacht that she once was or complete the work needed to return her to her original WWII configuration.

Here's the rest of everything Paul captured during his time away. This is a longer clip, but we just couldnt wait to share everything with you!! Included are DC3's and engines, personal reflections, and a bit of behind the scenes. It's easy to forget just how much has happened to make this pilgrimage possible as we've been caught up in the excitement of this incredible spectacle unfolding, but we'll always remember the service and sacrifice of those who arrived here 75 years earlier with a very different set of odds.

Here we go - Paul's footage is in!! Particulary special to continue following this adventure behind the scenes, especially given the massive effort to get these amazing aircraft together. Here we go!! This clip ends up in Iceland, all the way from Aurora, Oregon!! We decided to make this a longer video as N18121 has now landed at Duxford in the UK - and there's too much exciting stuff happening to wait a moment longer to get you all caught up with progress. Paul is sending through clips of Iceland to Duxford, and we'll share them as soon as they arrive.

Hi Everyone!! It's been a while since we've shared with you here - thank you very much for your patience!! Many of you may already be aware of the many DC3's coming together from around the globe and heading towards Normandy for the 75th anniversary of D-Day. This is a significant movement of historic aircraft over some incredible routes, and we're delighted to be a part of this rare adventure. Paul and the team have been tasked with ensuring the safe arrival of 3 DC3's, and todays update is the first of many sharing their adventure. We have a little bit of catching up to do, so we'll be posting lots this weekend to help you connect real time with the teams and their aircraft. Come along for the ride!!

Hi Everyone!! Some exciting news!! We are thrilled to share with you all the discovery of 3 complete Antenna sets from the famed Rebecca / Eureka direction finding equipment. The "unearthing", counting and identification of our recently acquired inventories is a daily and ongoing project. We were however thrilled to discover a limited quantity of New Surplus Rebecca antennas hidden within one of the containers this week.
The antennas are like new and are marked with the part number: AN-14B-N.
We are offering these examples for sale either singularly or in pairs.

Happy 4th of July!! We hope you're all having a wonderful day, and that you have family and friends close by, and that you're blessed with good weather and great DC 3 videos to watch in the evening...... Here's the one you've all been patiently waiting for - thanks for giving us a moment to gather our thoughts upon arrival to Aurora, and ensure the maintenance program for the Breitling DC 3 was well underway first. So...sit back and relax, enjoy the following footage knowing that we made it across the Pacific Ocean safe and sound, and share the journey with us from Obihiro to Anchorage via Shemya and Cold Bay.

Here are our boys coming home!! Isn`t it amazing to think that this incredible DC 3 has flown all the way from Geneva - and is now touching down at Aurora Airport, HQ for Aerometal International!! Wonderful news!! We're very excited to have her here!!
