People always ask how I stay joyful, creative, and inspired. Honestly? It's moments like this. Being fully present with the person God gave me. Filling back up so I can pour out.

Before you spend thousands on a sectional that might not fit — do this first. 🖤

This is contractor paper from Home Depot. It's called the Heavy Duty Floor Protection Drop Cloth and it runs about $38. Grab some tape and a good pair of scissors and you're set.

Cut it to the exact dimensions of the piece you're considering. Lay it on the floor. Walk around it. Live with it for a day. Try every layout. Move it. Adjust it. Zero commitment.

I use this method all the time — especially for rugs and large pieces like sofas and sectionals. It takes the guessing out of the equation completely and saves my clients from some very expensive mistakes.

The $38 you spend on this paper could save you thousands. Trust me on this one.

I've decided not to wait until everything is perfect.

We must refuse to negotiate with fear! Those 4 letters come together in an attempt to keep us in a box, in between the lines, and just enough.

What would you be doing right now if you weren't afraid? Who would you be? Who would you be surrounded by? Would you feel accomplished?

Courage is not the absence of fear; it is the decision to move forward and take action in spite of it.
