It is with immeasurable heartbreak and sadness that I’m writing to inform our Austin Handy community that Scott Jordan, founder of Austin Handy, passed away very unexpectedly on November 15th, 2019. As Scott’s life partner, I was fortunate to be with him as he started his business and I got to witness his curiosity, enthusiasm, joy, and spirit of service as he got to know and serve people in the Austin area, particularly those in our neighborhood of Brentwood. On the day that he passed, he met his last client of the day for a consultation and repaired something for free before he left. That was Scott. He loved being of service and he loved making people happy through his work. He will be deeply missed. -Jennifer Russell
